PTSA Weekly email update
One of the Northwest PTSA's most popular programs is our weekly email update. Each week, subscribers receive an informative email containing information about the upcoming events at school (not just PTSA events!) and also information of interest to parents and other Northwest community members. You'll also receive occasional special emails for important information that can't wait till the next weekly update. We try to keep those extra emails to a minimum.
While we would certainly like everyone in the Northwest community to join the PTSA, you don't have to be a member to subscribe to the weekly update. Even if you received the weekly update email last year, you need to sign up again this year.
How to start or stop a subscription
If you're at the PC you normally use to send email, just use this link to send a note to weeklyupdate-subscribe@nwptsa.org . You don't have to type anything in the note. The email return address you use to send us your request will be the one we add to the list. For example, if you want your home email address to receive the updates, send the note from your home email program. If you'd like to receive it at work, send it using your work email program. To make sure that the right email address is being signed up, you'll receive an automated note asking you to confirm that you wish to subscribe. Once you reply to that note, you'll receive another note confirming that you're subscribed.
Stopping your subscription is just as easy. Use this link to send a blank email using the email return address that is currently receiving the update to weeklyupdate-unsubscribe@nwptsa.org. You'll receive an automated note asking you to confirm that you want to cancel your subscription. When you reply to that note, you'll be removed from the mailing list. (We delete all subscriptions at the end of every school year.)

Privacy information
The Northwest HS PTSA respects your desire to make your own decisions as to who has access to your email address. We will not release the email addresses of people receiving the weekly update emails to anyone unless we legally have to. The only people who can see your email address are the mailing list administrators. All the addresses on the list will be deleted at the end of each school year.
Only the weekly update editors and the PTSA President can send notes to the weekly update mailing list, but anyone is welcome to subscribe to receive the messages sent to the list.
